Aryna Sabalenka
Sabalenka is Belarusian born in Minsk. Sergey the father of her (who passed away in 2019), was an ice-hockey player. Aryna Sabalenka was birthed in Minsk on 5 May 1998. She has had 12 WTA singles titles, including the Grand Slam at the 2023 Australian Open. Doubles is another sport where she shines. It was the US Open 2019, and Australian Open 2021 were both played by Elise Mertens. The Sunshine Double was achieved by her and Elise in 2019. Together, they won the WTA 1000s in Indian Wells & Miami. This feat was only achieved by four couples playing in singles for women. On the 23rd August of 2021, she rose to second position on the list of world singles rankings her top ranking again in the month of January in 2023. The same year she won in Melbourne in the following year, and then went to the top spot worldwide in doubles. She was trained by the former Russian tennis champion Dmitry Tursunov from 2018 until the end of the 2019 season, and partly at the beginning of 2020. There was a brief collaboration with Dieter Kindlmann in August until September of 2020. Antonio Dubrov, her fellow countryman, has coached her from the year 2020. Serena Williams, and Maria Sharapova are among her greatest idols.
